Did ya know that it is ALWAYS a good idea to check your receipt before you leave the store? Many times stores overcharge you for things that you thought were on sale. Some stores also have policies that if you are charged wrong for an item, you get it for free, or gift cards of some sort. Sears will give you the item for free if it's under $5, while JcPenny's will give you a $5 gift card for every item that was overcharged.
My Personal Experience:
I always check my receipts in case I was charged wrong. As recent as TODAY this has happened to me. In the past, I have gotten outfits for free for my daughter when I was overcharged. It is nice to get something free for the store's mistake.
